The following are the AIX Systems Management Interface Tool screens associated with the setup and configuration of MQSeries in an HACMP environment. These instructions assume there is a volume group called "<Machine Identifier>datavg" which exists on a shared external disk array. The "<Machine Identifier>" portion of the volume group name is a string of characters which uniquely identifies the machine with which the volume group is normally associated. As an example, this document describes a two machine, mutual failover cluster using machine names of "mxdaaeai01" and "mxdaaeai02".

The volume group, logical volume and file system naming standards used in this document conform to the standardized methodology detailed in the document titled "Filesystem Naming".

Failure to remove this file makes it possible for the authentication server to become compromised. Once the server has been compromised, all authentication passwords must be changed. Changes to the cluster security mode setting alter the cluster topology configuration, and therefore need to be synchronized across cluster nodes.
