The role of E-Commerce

Electronic Commerce will provide the consumer interface portion of the E-Business Model. It will consist of things such as the public web site, customer's personnalized web site, and supplier interfaces. Electronic Commerce will provide things such as an on-line catalog and order management capabilities to the consumer. It will also coordinate the delivery, transportation, and pickup of consumer goods.
